Specifications, Band Quantity, Safety, and More
Size in Open Configuration EVO Gym is 29 inches long when opened and 12.5 inches wide. Size in Closed Configuration When closed, EVO Gym is only 2 inches thick! It also becomes just 15 inches long and 12.5 inches wide. Maximum Weight EVO Gym can withstand 400 pounds of resistance with a safety factor of two. User Height EVO Gym is perfect for anyone up to 6’3″ in height. If you’re taller than 6’3″ there are bands available more suitable to your height. How many bands? Make sure to double check the variation you are purchasing! EVO Gym comes with either 10, 8, or 6 bands. Additional bands can be purchased separately for even more weight.. How much weight? The 10 band configuration provides 320 pounds of total resistance. The 8 band configuration provides 220 pounds of total resistance. The 6 bands configuration provides 120 pounds of total resistance. Material The base is aircraft grade aluminum and a polycarbonate plastic body, with a TPR rubber top plate to keep you from slipping. The bands are made of the highest grade latex. Safety Resistance bands, no matter how high quality, come with the risk of snapping. Make sure to always use a combination of bands where you would not feel in danger if one snapped – according to your current strength and fitness. Never pull resistance bands – from any brand – directly towards your eyes! We also recommend wearing shoes as an extra precaution! Please make sure to read your Safety Manual before getting started as well. Can you carry it on a plane? Yes, EVO Gym can be carried on to a plane – as it has by many customers. It’s important to keep in mind that TSA can decide that you need to check it in due to the metal bars, so make sure you have extra check in space just in case!
